Its alternative financing transactions are executed off-market and often involve companies that are underserved by established capital markets players. The firm focuses on the natural resources, agri-commodities, and real estate sector as well as select special situations opportunities. Ventris Capital has strong ties with over 300 investors and corporates predominantly from Asia Pacific including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Korea and Australia. Typical fundraising sizes range from US$10-$100mm. Its sources of funding originate from Asian ultra-high net worth individuals, large family offices, listed cash shells, niche institutional investors and corporates. Ventris Capital Advisors also co-invests alongside its partners.

Apricus Co., Ltd is an Alliance Coordinator company for cross border needs. Apricus is led by Ms. Mitsue Terao.
Mitsue studied in the U.S where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and East Asian Area Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at university, Mitsue studied abroad at Nankai University in Tianjin, China. After spending 8 years in the U.S., Mitsue returned to Japan and joined Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC mainly engaging with clients in the Automobile Industry and its Overseas Strategies team. Later, she switched to independent consulting and worked with an OEM Apparel Manufacturer in Hong Kong. As a key account manager, Mitsue was required to travel between China, Europe, the U.S. and Japan. She also worked on starting eCommerce business within Taobao. Following all this, Mitsue joined a Japanese project team working on a Taiwanese F&B business. Mitsue returned to Japan in January 2015 to help with reforming the management of her family’s business, Terao Sash Kogyo Co., Ltd., by becoming CFO. She also founded Apricus Co., Ltd. to provide alliance coordinator and consulting services for cross-border, cross-industry and cross-sector projects. Mitsue is currently a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
